edit-image

Change what you mark on a picture, boldly or exactly.

On the rail as edit-image.

Mark a picture: pin comments on spots, draw where something new goes, erase what should leave; one run makes every change. Creative makes each change boldly and lets the picture adapt; Precise changes only inside the marks.

For a new picture from words, a new look for the whole picture or a relit scene, another tool fits better. Creative lightly redraws the rest of the picture; when every other pixel must stay as it was, use Precise.

  1. Use the card’s Image area. The picture to change. Leave comments on spots, draw where something new goes, and erase what should leave.
  2. Pick a mode on the card: Creative, Precise.
  3. Pick a model in the pill at the top of the card, or keep Krea 3.
  4. Press Run.

Image The picture to change. Leave comments on spots, draw where something new goes, and erase what should leave.
Run Starts the run. The number on it is what this run costs in credits, worked out before you press.
×1 Runs the card several times in a row with the same settings. 1 to 99

One fast run makes every marked change boldly and lets the picture around it adapt, so the whole stays coherent.

Models in this mode: Krea 3, Ideogram 4.5.

Changes only inside your marks and puts every other pixel of the picture back as it was. Slower.

Models in this mode: FLUX 3.

The pill at the top of the card picks the model. Krea 3 is the one a new card starts on.

Model Good for
Krea 3 An edit where the picture around the change may adapt to it, or a change to the whole picture (the light, the look): Edit mode’s Creative route. About 9 s at 2K.
Ideogram 4.5 Inpaint’s Tag mode: one change per tag, typed where it goes, and everything the words do not name comes back as it was. Also rewrites the text in a picture into another language in the same type, and takes up to four reference pictures.
FLUX 3 Several targeted edits to one picture in one run, each in its own box: replace one thing, remove another, put a reference picture into an area, and everything else stays as it was. Also edits from words with up to nine references.

Not the one for: With regional edit on it makes one change a run, so two changes in one run need it off. It redraws the rest lightly; a change that must leave everything else exactly as it was goes to FLUX 3 with the restore.

Seed The starting dice roll. The same seed and settings give the same result every time; change it for a fresh variation, or leave it at -1 for a new random one. A number

Not the one for: Not a restyle of the whole picture and not a new composition: it keeps the framing. The High tier is the expensive one, and an area can take at most three references.

Setting What it does Choices
Quality How hard the model works on the edit. The size of the picture never changes the price. Draft, Low, Medium, High
Full size Each tagged area is cut out, edited at its own size and put back, so a big photo stays big. On or off

Not the one for: A move is the unreliable edit: it runs on its own and sometimes redraws the picture around it. No seed. Not a restyle of the whole picture.
