When to use it

Stretching a clip into slow motion after it was filmed, when the movement needs to stay smooth instead of stuttering from held frames.

When to reach for something else

Section titled “When to reach for something else”

It takes no written direction, so it only slows footage that already exists: it cannot invent new motion, and it caps at 30 seconds, 1080p, and MP4 or MOV files.

How to use it

  1. Drop a clip onto the card’s Video slot.
  2. Set Slow Down on the card.
  3. Press Run.

Control What it does Choices
Video The clip the tool works from. Drop one from the board or your computer. One clip
Slow Down How much longer the clip becomes. 5x turns a 2 second clip into a 10 second one at the same frame rate. 2 to 5
Run Starts the run. The number on it is what this run costs in credits, worked out before you press.
