vector-colorize

Recolour a vector into several palettes, shapes untouched.

On the rail as vector-colorize.

Trying different colour palettes on a vector you already like, when the linework and layout are right and only the colours need exploring.

It takes no written direction, so it only remaps colour on artwork already in vector form. A photo or raster image needs tracing into a vector first.

  1. Drop a vector onto the card’s Vector slot.
  2. Write what you want in Direction.
  3. Set Harmony, Variations on the card.
  4. Press Run.

Harmony The color scheme every variation follows. Free explores; a scheme fixes the hue angles and moves the base hue between variations. Free, Monochromatic, Analogous, Complementary, Split complementary, Triadic, Tetradic
Variations How many recolored versions to generate from one run. All of them come from a single plan, so the price stays the same. 2 to 8

Lock colors Click a swatch to keep that exact color in every variation. Under a harmony the first locked color is the base the scheme is built around.
