A collaborative workspace for concept development and design: what a board holds, what multimodal means here, and how Plnty compares to the alternatives.

Plnty is a collaborative workspace for concept development and design, built on an infinite canvas and running much of its heavy work in your browser. Its tools adapt to different creative workflows, taking an idea from a rough first pass through to production-grade output.

A board is an isometric 3D space. Images, video, 3D meshes, audio and vector all sit on it at the same time, next to collaboration tools that let you comment, annotate and work together with your team.

It is built that way because of how multimodal models have become.

Because the canvas is shared, a teammate opening the same board sees your cursor and your edits as they happen.

This is already how the next-gen models work. Seedance 2.5 on the Plnty canvas takes up to 50 image references including images, video, audio and 3D objects. This is something you cannot do anywhere else.

3D is there not just as reference for AI models, but as a way to control the way you want the object to be placed. Take a 3D object generated with Meshy or Tripo and render it on the pathtracer to control the exact angle and focal length you want your object to render, then enhance it using AI models or blend-in-scene to compose it exactly as you wish.

That is the bet the canvas was built on. Images, video, audio and live 3D already share one board. Only in Plnty are they already together, and that grows more valuable with every modality the models learn to read.

With over 150 tools built on the latest image, video, 3D, vector and audio models, Plnty turns frontier models into instruments for creative and design work. The tool is the part that matters. It takes methods and an interface already familiar to designers, applies them to the newest generative models, and hands you a suite of creative instruments that skip the technical learning curve entirely.

Around every model there is work the model cannot do. That work is the tool. Sometimes it is exact: recolor applies the hex you picked, to the pixel, where a prompt could only ask for it. Diverge writes each cell’s brief from authored banks, so six results come back from six ideas and not six rewordings of one. The heavier work runs on your own machine, remeshing and pathtraced rendering among them, costing nothing to run and carrying on while an image is generating. They love a real GPU, and on a thin laptop they still run, slower.

Everyone reaches the same models. Nobody else builds this much around them.

*Plnty does not make the model faster. One generation returns more, and the canvas runs many of those at once.

Generating costs credits. Every tool shows its price on the Run button before you commit, and changing the quality or the size moves that number while you watch.

Credits are reserved the moment you press Run and settle only once the result lands. A run that fails releases its reservation, so a provider erroring costs you nothing. In the rare case that release does not go through straight away, a sweep reconciles it within about an hour.

Personal workspaces and team workspaces keep separate balances, and you can move credits from your own wallet into a team’s shared pool. A workspace that runs dry stops generating until it is topped up, though everything already sitting on your boards stays exactly where it is.

Nothing here asks you to file anything. The moment an asset lands it goes into the library carrying a record it keeps for as long as it exists.

That record is what makes the library findable months later. Search runs across the name, the tags, the colours, the style, the description and the prompt at once, so a half-remembered “matte green ceramic thing from the spring pitch” is enough to land on it. Filter by kind to see every 3D asset you own, or by colour when you are rebuilding a palette.

In a team workspace the library is shared. An asset a colleague made in March is in front of you in October with its settings still attached, so nobody has to remember which run produced the one that worked. Share a board and a client sees the work without an account, and without access to anything else.
