multicam-edit

Re-shoot one take from camera angles nobody filmed.

On the rail as multicam-edit.

Turning one filmed take into a multi-angle cut: say in one line how to cut it, and get the same performance back from angles nobody filmed, with nothing re-performed or re-timed.

It refuses any clip where a person looks photoreal, rendered or filmed, so it only works for creatures, objects and characters that still read as drawn. It also needs a real take to re-cut, not an imagined scene.

  1. Use the card’s Footage area. The take to re-cut. Write in one line how to cut it, and the plan lists every shot with its angle.
  2. Write what you want in Brief.
  3. Set Draft first on the card.
  4. Press Run.
Control What it does Choices
Footage The take to re-cut. Write in one line how to cut it, and the plan lists every shot with its angle.

Draft first Re-shoots a 480p draft of the whole take. Review its cuts here, then finish it in 1080p before you place it. On or off
Run Starts the run. The number on it is what this run costs in credits, worked out before you press.

These sit behind the settings button on the card.

Setting What it does Choices
Resolution How sharp the result is. The clip is billed twice at this rate, once as the output and once as the reference, so it is the main thing that moves the price. 480p, 720p, 1080p
Keep original sound Puts your clip’s own audio back on the result, so the words and their timing never change. Turn it off to hear the model’s own take on the sound instead. On or off
Seed The starting dice roll. The same seed and settings give the same result every time; change it for a fresh variation, or leave it at -1 for a new random one. A number
